To prepare students to meet the need of users within an organizational and societal context through the selection, creation, application, integration and administration of computing technologies and delivering student resources in IT enabled domain

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

Graduates of the IT program:

(a) Will be prepared for gainful employment as an IT professional.

(b) Will function effectively as individuals and team members in the workplace, growing into high-tech or project management and leadership roles.

(c) Will pursue life-long learning and obtain the tools to successfully identify and adapt to ever changing technologies.

(d) will be able to continue their formal education and be accepted for relevant graduate degree programs and succeed in these studies.

Program Outcomes (POs) for IT Department

(a) An ability to apply knowledge of Mathematics, Science & Engineering,

(b) An ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems,

(c) An ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as social, political, ethical, health and safety,

(d) An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data,

(e) An ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.

(f) An ability to apply reasoning process to meet desired needs such as economic, environmental, manufacturability, and sustainability,
