• SKIT has consistently earned top ratings from Careers360 in the India's Best Engineering Colleges survey, progressing from AAA (2020–2021) to AAA+ (2022-23, 2023-24) and AAAA (2024–25 and 2025-26).
• SKIT was featured among the Top 100 Private Engineering Colleges by Outlook Magazine (2020–2022) and among the Top 60 Private Engineering Institutes in 2024, 2025 and 2026.

• SKIT has been accredited and re-accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) in ME, EE,CE, ECE and IT engineering branches.
• SKIT is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956.
• SKIT has been granted an AICTE IDEA Lab by AICTE, Ministry of Education, Government of India, and received a related Certificate of Appreciation in 2026.
• The Institute Innovation Council of SKIT, constituted under AICTE, was awarded a 3.5-star Innovation Rating (on a scale of 5) by the Innovation Cell, Ministry of Education, Government of India.
• SKIT received a Certificate of Appreciation and a Certificate of Recognition in the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
• SKIT was recognized as a Swachh Bharat Action Plan Institution by the Department of Higher Education, MHRD, Government of India (2019).

3. NPTEL/SWAYAM — Institutional Recognition

• SKIT's NPTEL Local Chapter has been rated a Valuable Local Chapter with an AA rating (2019–2022), retained the AA rating for Jan–Apr 2023, earned an A rating with Local Chapter Star recognition for Jul–Dec 2023, and continued to receive SWAYAM-NPTEL Local Chapter Rating recognition in 2025 and 2026.
• SKIT recorded the maximum number of NPTEL Stars in 2020, 2022, and Jul–Dec 2023, with further NPTEL Star/Discipline Star recognitions in 2025–26, and received the Maximum Number of NPTEL Domain Scholars recognition in 2022.

4. Research, Innovation & Infrastructure

• SKIT received the IEI Engineering Education Excellence Award in 2024.
• SKIT was recognized by The Institution of Engineers (India) for Commendable Performance in the category of Engineering Institutions and Colleges, and separately for Outstanding Engineering Service to Society by its Rajasthan State Centre (January 2026).
• SKIT received the Certificate of Excellence under the Rising Educators Award 2024 for excellence in Technical Education and Skill Development.
• SKIT received the Outstanding Community Engagement Award under the ASME India Student Section Recognition Program (2022–23).
• SKIT established Centers of Excellence in Transportation Engineering and Internet of Things (IoT) through its affiliating university, Rajasthan Technical University, Kota.
• SKIT established Research Centers, approved by Rajasthan Technical University, in six departments: Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering & Master of Business Administration.
• SKIT established three ICT-eSLATE studios (Smart Learning and Teaching Environment) in 2020 to generate quality e-content.
• SKIT received a Certificate of Merit from Competition Success Review (2020) and was awarded Engineering College of Excellence by First India News (2022–23).
• SKIT developed an IoT lab as a research platform for crowd sourced, multidisciplinary Internet of Things research with enhanced end-user interaction.
• SKIT established the e-Yantra Robotics Lab, an IIT Bombay initiative sponsored by MHRD under the National Mission on Education through ICT.
• SKIT established a Nodal Centre for Virtual Labs in association with IIT Delhi (2019) and a Remote Centre for IIT Bombay to conduct workshops for teachers and students (since 2016).
• SKIT established the Techno SKIT Incubation Centre (SRIJAN) in 2016 to support innovation, advanced research, and entrepreneurship.
• SKIT served as a Nodal Centre for the Robotics Event of the IIT Bombay Techfest, North Region (2016), and as a Nodal Centre for Smart India Hackathon 2020, allotted by the Ministry of Women and Child Development (1–3 August 2020).
• SKIT faculty received the A.V. Shroff Biennial Best Paper Award in Grouting Technology/Environmental Technology from the Indian Geotechnical Society (December 2025).
• SKIT faculty received Best Paper Awards from NIT Goa (December 2025), the Society for Education and Research Development, India (June 2026), and the Centre for Energy and Environment, MNIT Jaipur (July 2025).
• SKIT faculty received the Nation Star Award for Research from the WELRED Foundation (October 2025) and the Innovation and Patent Excellence Award 2026 from IHE (February 2026).
• An SKIT student team was the 1st Runner-Up (₹30,000 prize) among 116 institutions across India in the "Hack the Future with AWS" GenAI Hackathon organised by Amazon Web Services (October 2025).

• SKIT is a member of the National Digital Library and the All India Management Association.
• SKIT is an Infosys Campus Connect Advanced Partner, a Microsoft Platinum Partner, and an IBM Centre of Excellence.
• SKIT partnered with the Spoken Tutorial Program of IIT Bombay as a Knowledge Partner under the National Mission on Education through ICT, MHRD (2018).
• SKIT received partnership recognitions from Anjaneya Group (Education Partner, 2018), Infosys (Advanced Partner Institute, 2018; Certificate of Appreciation, 2017), and IDBI Bank (Vigilance Awareness Week, 2017).

6. Student Activities, Clubs & Competitions

• The SKIT Toastmasters Club has received multiple recognitions since 2017, including the Fantastic Fast Five Award, President's Distinguished Club, Recognition of Excellence, Excellence in Service Leadership, Speedy Stupendous Seven, Distinguished Ahead of Time Award, Leaders in Education Award, Accelerators Award (2018), 10th Anniversary Achievement recognition (2017), and a Corporate Recognition Award for Empowering Leadership and Communication Skills (2025).
• Members of the SKIT Toastmasters Club won multiple Area, Division, and District-level awards in Humorous Speech, Evaluation Speech, International Speech, and Table Topics contests, including the Bull's Eye Award for Leadership (2025–26).
• SKIT received the Best Student Chapter recognition from the Indian Concrete Institute (2019 and 2022) and the ISTE Best Student Chapter Award for the Rajasthan Section (2023).
• SKIT students won a Certificate of Merit at Cognizance, IIT Roorkee, for Ideaz-ECE and Zengrip (March 2026).
• SKIT students were the 2nd Runner-Up (₹4,000 prize) at Blitzschlag'26 Rangbhoomi Stage Play Competition, MNIT Jaipur (February 2026).
• SKIT's Model United Nations Club (IISMUN) chaired the UNODC committee at an India International School MUN (May 2026).
• SKIT students served as Jury Members in hackathons organised by Uma Memorial Public School, Varanasi, and by AICTE.
• SKIT organised two Hackathons in 2019 and 2020.

• Faculty members were elected/nominated to professional bodies, including election as National Governing Council Member, Indian Concrete Institute (Civil Engineering faculty, July 2024), and nomination as Doctoral Research Committee Member, RTU Kota (Civil Engineering faculty, November 2024).
• Faculty members received a Best Poster Award from MNIT/IEEE, National Eduleaders Summit-2025 recognition from PAAI, the Young Research Award-2024 from the Institute of Scholars, a Best Paper Award from Chandigarh University, a Mentor Award in Smart India Hackathon, and Best Paper Presenter recognition from Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology.
• Faculty members received the Shiksha Ratna Award, the Bagarwal Samaj Samman, the Guru Gaurav Samman from Gunvrat Foundation, and the Ahilya Bai Holkar Award from Jeevan Suraksha & Parvayan Sanstha.
• Faculty members received Top 2% Scientist recognition from Stanford University and Elsevier, and the Young Scientist Award in Research from A Scifax Company Group.
• Faculty members served as reviewers and received appreciation certificates from Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology and the IEEE Delhi Section.
• Faculty members completed the Innovation Ambassador Training under the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC) and AICTE.
• A faculty member successfully qualified the Qniverse Developer Certification from C-DAC Bengaluru, demonstrating proficiency in quantum computing principles and algorithm design.

• SKIT was felicitated for its Outstanding Support and Contribution during the COVID-19 pandemic by the Department of Health, Government of Rajasthan, and UNICEF Jaipur.
• SKIT received an Expression of Gratitude from Jaipur Blood Bank, Rungta Hospital (2019).
• Green Campus recognition by NBA evaluators.
• Prof.(Dr.) S. L. Surana was felicitated with Life Time Achievement Award by the Institution of Engineers India in 2022.
• Shri B. S. Sharma was honored with Jaipur Ratan Award for outstanding contribution in the field of education by Life Safety and Environment Protection Society, Jaipur in 2022–23.
• SKIT received the Best Educational Institution Award from the Employers Association of Rajasthan (2017) and the Rajasthan Energy Conservation Award from the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited, Government of Rajasthan (2017).
