Admission Process
Department of Technical Education, Rajasthan has appointed Rajasthan Technical University, Kota to conduct the centralized admission process namely CAM (Centralized Admission for M.Tech./M.Arch.) for the academic session 2023-24.
Admission will be based on valid and eligible GATE Score of the year 2021-2023 preferably. However, candidate without GATE score but possessing B.E./B.Tech. degree or equivalent can also apply. For more details, visit CAM website- www.rtucam.org
Eligibility Criteria
Candidate should have passed B.E./B.Tech degree or equivalent at least with 55% aggregate marks or 6.25 CGPA on 10 point scale equivalent (50% aggregate marks or 5.75 CGPA on 10 point scale for ST/ SC candidates) from RTU, Kota or any other recognized University/Institution.
In addition to above, other eligibility criteria are given below:
- Candidate with qualification obtained through examination conducted by professional societies recognized by MHRD/UGC/AIU/UPSC/AICTE {e.g. AMIE by Institute of Engineers (India); AMICE by Institute of Civil Engineers (India); IEE} as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech
- Candidate having M.Sc., MCA degree, should possess a valid and qualified GATE score of the relevant branch.

In addition to the above, the following supernumerary seat is to be allotted by the coordinator CAM-2023 on the basis of merit and choices (branch/college) filled in CAM Application form.
KM (Kashmiri Migrants): Additional 5% seats of the sanctioned intake are reserved for the candidates belonging to Kashmiri Pandits/ Kashmiri Hindu families (non-migrants) and for Kashmiri migrants. A migrant certificate is required at the time of admission.
Fees Structure
The following course fee is approved by the State Level Fee Determination Committee. The fee for the academic session 2023-24 may be revised by the competent authority.

Note: Caution Money of Rs. 7,500/- (one-time) will be paid at the time of admission which is refundable.
In addition to the above mentioned fee, the affiliating university (RTU, Kota) also charges the examination fee (per semester), enrolment fee (one time) and development fee (one time) etc. separately. The same is collected by the institute and transferred to the university.
Institutional / Govt. Scholarships
- MHRD provides scholarship of Rs. 12,400/- per month for 24 months to GATE qualified candidates as per AICTE norms.
- Govt. scholarships are available for the students of the reserved category.
- Institute provides scholarship to the candidates on merit cum need basis.
