A9: The medium of instruction is English.
Q10: Is college uniform compulsory for students at SKIT? What is fee for uniform?
A10: Yes, the college uniform is compulsory to maintain a culture of unity and parity among the students. The cost of the uniform which includes 7 items is Rs. 5400/- (including 12% GST) for two shirts, two trousers, one blazer, one half sleeved pullover, one tie, one belt, socks (two pairs). Black leather shoes with laces must be purchased from college counter/outside shops. The cost of shoes is Rs. 600/- (including 12% GST) at college counter.

Q6: Is there any provision of supernumerary seats (other than approved intake) for admission in B.Tech. programme?
A6: Yes, the following schemes are available for admission in B. Tech. 1st year course:
6.1 TFWS Seats: 5% additional seats are reserved for the candidates belonging to the economically backward class of Rajasthan State with a family income lesser than or equal to Rs. 8 Lacs p.a. from all sources. Candidates should select the appropriate option to indicate income while filling REAP-2026 application form. These seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of merit by REAP. An income proof is required at the time of admission.
6.2 KM Seats: 5% seats in each branch are reserved for the candidates whose parents have migrated from Jammu & Kashmir State. A certificate to this effect by the competent authority is required at the time of admission.
6.4 PMSSS Seats: Additionally, a total of 20 seats in different branches are reserved for candidates belonging to Union Territories (UTs) of J&K and Ladakh who have passed 12th exam from J&K/ CBSE board affiliated schools located in J&K and Ladakh. The family income of the candidate should be less than or equal to Rs. 8 Lacs p.a. from all the sources for applying under PMSSS category. The application and allotment process for the admission under this category is governed by AICTE, New Delhi which can be located at https://www.aicte-jk-scholarship-gov.in/. AICTE provides scholarship to meet the expenditure towards Academic Fees (other than non refundable fees) and Maintenance Allowances to the candidates admitted under this category.

A14: All candidates must follow the following steps for admission in B.Tech. programme while filling the online REAP-2026 Application cum Registration Form on REAP-2026 website- https://reap2026.com
14.1 Step-1: Submission of Application cum Registration Form fee.
14.1.1 Application cum Registration process is completely online process. Candidates are advised to fill it carefully.
14.1.2 Fee for REAP-2026 application cum registration form (online) is Rs. 885 (750/- + 18% GST) (non-refundable/non-transferable).
14.1.3 The application form will automatically become active after successful payment of Rs. 885 (750/- + 18% GST) as Application cum Registration form fee.
14.2 Step-2: Filling of online Application cum registration form and College Choice form.
14.2.1. Candidate must read instructions carefully before filling the online application cum registration form.
14.2.2. Candidate should keep all the required documents including photograph and signature with them for hassle free form filling.

14.2.3. Candidates have to upload Photograph and Signature in JPG format and all other requisite documents in PDF format as given below:- Scanned image of his/her Photograph (file size up to100 KB), Signature (file size up to 50 KB), Mark sheets of class 12th Science or Diploma , Different Category certificates (file size up to 150 KB for each document).Uploaded photograph and signature should be clear and documents should be legible.
14.2.4. All mandatory entries in online application cum registration form must be filled.
14.2.5. Candidates are advised to fill College Choice form after successful completion of application form, the candidate can fill as many choices as available to him/her.
14.2.6. The changes are allowed in Online Application cum registration form and College Choice form before final submission i.e. before pressing the “Submit/Lock” button on the web portal.
14.2.7. It will not be possible to make further modification in Application Form and / or College Choice Form in any circumstances after successful submission by pressing the “Submit/Lock” button on the web portal.
14.3 Step-3: Candidates will receive confirmation E-mail/ message at registered E-mail ID/ Mobile no after successful submission of Application cum Registration form and College Choice form.
14.4 Step-4: Candidates must take Printouts/ Hardcopy only after final submission of online application form and college choice form.

A15: Yes, the physical presence of the candidate is mandatory at the time of reporting at the allotted college.

A23: No, we do not have any admission office/branch anywhere in the country.
