CO1: Understand concepts of voltage stability, comparison of angle and voltage stabilities, Power system loads, generator P-Q and Q-V characteristics. Voltage collapse. Voltage stability analysis. Methods of improving voltage stability.
CO2: Analyze the concept of power line carrier communication systems and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).
CO3: Identify implications of FACTS devices on the stability and implementation procedures.
CO4: Categorize various energy conversion methods and methods used for energy audits at domestic and industrial level.
CO5: Understand the concept of superconductivity and recent advances pertaining to the development of super conducting technologies.
