M.B.A (Lateral Entry)
Direct Admission MBA Second Year (Third Semester)
Lateral Entry to the Third Semester (Second Year) of the MBA Programme from the Academic Session 2026–27.
Eligibility
Candidates who have passed B.E./B.Tech. or BBA/BMS (4-Year Programme) with NCrF Level 6 (as per AICTE Approval Process Handbook 2024–25 to 2026–27) are eligible to apply.
Minimum Qualifying Marks
- 50% marks (or equivalent CGPA) in the qualifying examination.
- 45% marks for candidates belonging to the reserved category.
Seat Availability
Admissions will be offered against vacant seats available after the enrolment of first-year MBA students in the previous academic session. Reservation of seats shall be applicable as per the prevailing Government/University norms.

Bridge Course
All admitted lateral entry students must successfully complete the mandatory Bridge Course as approved by BOS.

Admission Procedure |
In all Ph.D. programs, the admission shall be granted as per Rajasthan Technical University, Kota ordinance and regulations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy and the subsequent modifications thereof. The RTU-DAT entrance examination shall be conducted at the premises of RTU, Kota every year

Branch Change Process 2026-27 for B.Tech III Semester Students
As per the resolution of 3rd meeting of academic council held on 31.05.2025 vide agenda no. 3.5 and subsequent approval of 3rd BOG held on 04.10.2025 vide agenda no. 3.2, the change of branch process 2026-27 will be carried out at the institute level for B.Tech III semester students admitted/enrolled in the academic session 2025-26.
