A Minor Degree supports multidisciplinary learning and allows students to acquire additional knowledge and skills in a specialized area along with major discipline. In this regard eligible students can enrol for a Minor Degree programme from upcoming academic session 2026-27. To obtain a Minor Degree, students have to successfully complete the prescribed set of courses and required credits. Eligibility and Guidelines:
- Students of B.Tech. Programs (admitted in AY-2025-26) who shall successfully clear their first year and are in good academic standing are eligible to opt for a Minor Degree.
- The Minor Degree will be awarded upon successful completion of the prescribed courses and credits as defined in the curriculum.
- Students interested in pursuing a Minor Degree must register for the program within the stipulated time as notified by the institute.
- The detailed structure, list of courses, and credit requirements for each Minor Degree will be available with the respective departments.
