INSTITUTION OF ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERS (IETE)
The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) is India's leading recognized professional society devoted to the advancement of science, technology, electronics and telecommunication, and information technology. Founded in 1953, it serves more than 69,000 members through 59 centers/ sub-centers primarily located in India (3 abroad).
SKIT-IETE student forum was inaugurated on March 16, 2013 by All India IETE president Dr. S. Pal (Distinguished Scientist and Senior Advisor, ISRO Satellite Centre, Bangaluru) in a 3 days national conference AMCT-2013 (Advances in microelectronics & communication Technologies) at SKIT, Jaipur.
Objective of SKIT-IETE Student Forum
- Improving standard of Engineering Education
- Counseling the students in the emerging new opportunities
- Encouraging and motivating the outside Class room studies/Workshops/ projects/ Seminars
