Course Outcomes:

 

After completion of this course, students will be able to:

CO1: Learn the essential tools of matrices and linear algebra including linear transformations, Eigen values.

CO2: Get familiarized with the techniques in ordinary differential equations of first order that will equip them to deal with the advanced level of mathematics and applications that they would have in their discipline.

CO3: Apply the effective mathematical tools for the solutions of ordinary differential equation of higher order that model physical phenomena and engineering problems.

CO4: Have a better understanding of partial differential equations of first order and their solution processes that are used in various techniques dealing engineering problems.

CO5: Apply the effective mathematical tools for solutions of partial differential equations of higher order that model physical phenomena and engineering problems.

Course Outcomes

After completion of this course, students will be able to:

CO1: Solve the problems of area, volume of revolutions and evaluate proper, improper integrals using Beta, Gamma functions.

CO2: Understand the concept of convergence and divergence of infinite series.

CO3: Find the Fourier series representation of a function and to find half range Fourier series for Odd/Even functions

CO4: Evaluate Partial derivatives and Maxima, Minima of multivariable functions

CO5: Apply the concept of Multiple Integrals and various Vector Integral techniques to various engineering problems.
