Course Outcomes
CO1: Understand basic Concepts of Dynamic Systems and Stability, dynamic analysis of different stabilities, effect of Unregulated and Regulated System, Effect of Damper, Asynchronous Operation and Resynchronization and Voltage Collapse.
CO2: Analyze the transients through Per unit system, Sub-transient, steady state, transient inductance and Time constants, Simplified models of synchronous machines.
CO3: Apply knowledge of synchronous machine modelling and analysis to stability studies and analyze the results obtained in transient and steady state conditions with the help of mathematical modelling and transformations.
CO4: Categorize different excitation systems on the basis of elements and power system considerations and will understand impact of excitation system on dynamics of the system.
CO5: Analyze the mathematical modelling of Single Machine Infinite Bus System and Multi Machine power system and induction motor.
